      What's new? Well, a hell of a lot. You really need to go check out my blog to be able to see what's been happening since I "left" deviantart. But let's just say LOTS has changed, and I'm trying to get my feet back on the ground.

      Getting on up!
    

    

      Sometimes I look around and I figure out that a lot of time has gone by in a moment. This is sorta what it's like for me lately. Time just seems to be passing without really taking me along for the ride. I guess that will change, but right now, I'm not too fussed. It's actually great to be back on dA, with all the old friends, and the plethora of new ones. Over in the feature box, you'll see one of my new best friends here on dA. She's awesome, and without her, I wouldn't be back in the way that I am.
So, let's get right into what's been going on!
    

    

      Life in General
    

    

     Not so great. It's personal, so we won't go there. But things will get better I'm sure. Time is supposed to heal all wounds. On the whole though, there isn't all that much wrong with my life. I have a great family, amazing equipment, and good friends. That helps, and I appreciate them oh so much.
    

    

      School/Uni
    

    

Well, finished my first year of university, so that's GREAT! AND I passed everything. So that's even better. Means I don't have to stress over the summer and study for things again, and it means that I can rub it in the faces of the people who didn't. I jest, I would never do anything like that. But I am much relieved, because I was really quite worried that I would not pass. Zoology though is going to be a great subject, and Edinburgh is an extremely prestigious university, so that's great. Got my flat sorted for next year and everything. Hopefully it will be a much better year.
    

    

      Madagascar
    

    

      So for those of you who didn't know, I went to Madagascar in July last year. Only managed to go for one month unfortunately, but it was an amazing experience, and one that was, I'm sure, extremely valuable to me. They even offered me a job to stay on and help with the research, but unfortunately, uni was quite pressing, so I was unable to accept. However, it is great to be wanted by a team like that.
If you wanna see shots from the trip (more than are available from deviantArt), you can go to my blog. Actually, if you type "madagascar" into the searchbar on the right, you will bring up every post from the trip, containing some 300 or so photographs. I hope you enjoy them.

I hope that my gallery shows to some extent what I've been doing, though my recent work has yet to make it up. Working on that still.
