ORLY?

In Madagascar, the owls especially come into contact with humans only very infrequently, so they are not only extremely tolerant of humans, but become transfixed by our lights. This guy let us get less than a foot from him to shoot. Six of us. Some of my most exciting photography ever, and a moment I shall never forget. Owls are just so beautiful. This by the way is a Malagasy Scops Owl, Otus rutilus.
